This position reports to the Senior Director, Industrial Nitrogen. 

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Manage and grow strategic customer relationships across industrial nitrogen accounts, with day-to-day engagement at multiple levels of the customer organization
  • Develop and execute commercial plans for industrial nitrogen within the region, including volume planning, margin optimization, pricing support, and identification of growth opportunities
  • Lead administration and execution of industrial nitrogen contractual agreements, while monitoring supply, delivery performance, and customer commitments
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, transportation, customer experience, and commercial teams to support reliable service and effective issue resolution for industrial nitrogen customers
  • Monitor industrial nitrogen market conditions, competitive activity, and customer demand trends, and communicate insights that support regional and portfolio strategy
  • Support cross-business collaboration opportunities, including One Nutrien account development where industrial nitrogen can strengthen broader customer relationships

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor degree in agriculture, business, marketing or related field required
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, product management, customer experience, or a related field
  • Developed customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to goals and objectives with analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Awareness of industry standards related to handling, storage and use of fertilizer products
  • Motivated self-starter with results and solution orientation and the ability to sustain a professional growth strategy while working independently
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office components Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of internal operating systems (SAP, MSS, HANA) to extract data into valuable/reliable reports
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of market/field

Compensation & Benefits: 

 

The salary range for this role, in Deerfield, IL, is between $68,400 - $107, 470. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

 

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions.  Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid vacation, sick days and holidays as well as paid personal and maternity/parental leaves and an Employee and Family Assistance Program.  Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process.   

 

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
