This position is based out of the Chicago Sales Office for a Summer 2025 internship beginning in May 2025 and will last approximately 12 to 16 weeks, depending on candidate availability. Number of positions available: Four (4)

 

What you will do:

  • Interact and communicate with customers and sales managers in the areas of order entry, order shipment, and logistics of sales transactions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Experience, Transportation, Distribution & Logistics, and Product Management along with Nutrien’s plants and warehouses to manage order to cash activity
  • Update and maintain master data related to customers in various ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • Analyze specific sales region data, volumes and netbacks
  • Analyze global supply and demand scenarios for specific products
  • Participate in any special projects as needed by the different sales regions

What you will bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in Agriculture, Business Administration, Logistics, or equivalent four-year degree
  • Possess excellent problem resolution and critical thinking skills, and ability to make self-guided decisions within established guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience and proficiency using a variety of software programs and applications with an aptitude to learn new systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to take on multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deliverables
