The Communications Specialist provides support to multiple business units through developing communication plans, creating rich content and execution. Experience in both traditional communications, online and social media and tactical experience is required. The role will have the primary responsibility for project managing the tactics for demand creation of key products.

What you will do:  

• Support of stakeholders across the organization with developing communication strategies, creating rich content and managing day-to-day requests for demand creation tactics
• Manage web and social media content that help drive traffic to the site and build product awareness
• Assist with project management and utilization of print and digital initiatives
• Maintain content governance and processes, including brand guidelines, across all print and digital properties
• Document procedures, best practices, tools and information related to communication processes
• Marketing communications report creation and interpretation

What you will bring: 

• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office is a requirement. Experience with web analytic tools and web content entry via web CMS tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to write content for communications
• Excels in project management, organization and problem solving, including the ability to prioritize task and projects
• Detail-oriented, self-starter with a good understanding of traditional media and online space, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting, with a willingness to learn and share information with peers, management and users are a must
• Experience or understanding agriculture would be considered an asset
• Performs all other duties as required.
