This position is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the potash terminal area. The role includes handling shipments for both incoming and outgoing products, recording data, and making operational corrections as required.

 

What you will do:

  • Have an excellent sense of safety and be able to demonstrate safety guidance.
  • Perform terminal site maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze all types of rotating equipment.
  • Operate and monitor equipment.
  • Operate computerized and non-computerized control systems.
  • Record and enter data readings.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal governmental regulations and standards.

What you will bring:

  • Minimal experience needed – on-the-job training provided.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must live within a 25-mile radius from the terminal site.
  • Strong safety mindset; willingness to proactively identify potential hazards, adhere to safety protocols, and foster a culture of psychological safety.
  • Ability to approach challenges with a positive and constructive attitude, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute to a productive team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mechanical experience is welcomed but not required.
  • Possess intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Work with minimal supervision and is self-motivated.
  • Willingness to learn with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Available for overtime and to be “on-call” to support the terminal during non-typical working hours if/when issues arise, as required.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally for training courses and/or to assist at other terminals (approximately once per year).
  • Instrumentation/electrical experience is an asset.
