Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will complete day to day responsibilities of receiving, warehousing, and shipping of products as well as lead commercial driving staff in safely picking up and delivering products to customers with a high level of service.
What you will do:
- Ensure that products, supplies, and equipment are handled and stored in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately record quality and quantity of goods received and shipped, maintaining detailed and up to date records.
- As needed, escalate information regarding damaged items or shortages to manager, taking appropriate action to resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinates shipments with internal resources and external transportation vendors.
- Implements tactical approaches to proper warehousing of products.
- Routinely check inventory for damages, shortages, and monitoring of product condition.
- Fulfill customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Complete routine maintenance on equipment, making minor repairs as needed. Ensure manager is promptly notified of equipment requiring significant repairs.
- Actively contribute to warehouse operational efficiency by operating a forklift, making deliveries, and completing cleaning and organization duties.
- Lead warehouse operations during Warehouse Manager’s absence through coordination of work activities, ensuring that responsibilities are clearly defined, and performance objectives are met.
- Delegate work tasks as needed to support effective warehouse operations.

- Demonstrate willingness and enthusiasm to complete additional tasks to meet business objectives.
What you will bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Three years of previous warehouse or delivery driving experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and warehouse management technology systems.
- An engaged safety-first mindset.
- Follow through on assigned tasks from start to finish.
- Attention to detail when completing paperwork for inventory check ins and check outs.
- Ability to learn and regularly follow order selecting, safety, and warehouse operational procedures.
- Skilled in recording and managing accurate detailed data and information.
- Demonstrate adaptability in a deadline driven environment with competing priorities.
- Proven capability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Accountability to team with dependable attendance and completing share of workload.
- Apply critical thinking in problem solving scenarios.
- Organized approach to completing work in alignment with priorities.
- Adept at operating and repairing warehouse equipment.
- Able to stoop, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Capable of lift 50-60 lbs on a regular basis.
- Collaboration with team members in completing daily housekeeping tasks.
- Previous experience with SAP software is preferred but not required.
