What You'll Do:
Â
Supervision:
- The lead will assign, prioritize, and supervise work duties to meet shift goals
- Responsible for understanding and advising workers of potential and actual hazards
- Ensure that workers use prescribed protective equipment
- Ensure employees work within health, safety, and environmental policies
Shipping:
- Ensure day-to-day operations meet customer flow plans and orders are picked accurately and safely
- Stage and check orders for accuracy and efficiency
- Load trailers according to delivery sequence
Receiving:
- Receive product destined for the Nutrien warehouse only
- Receive bulk liquid and transfer to appropriate holding tanks
- Inspect received product for damage and store in assigned warehouse locations
Bill of Lading:
- Ensure paperwork is properly distributed
- Ensure all documentation is legible and accurately completed
Production:
- Prepare empties for bulk pours, including labeling
- Wash empties for bulk filling production
- Assist with production lines as required
Safety:
- Follow outlined procedures and safety protocols at all times
- Participate in safety programs to reduce risk of injury or material loss
- Clean and maintain warehouse areas
- Report safety deficiencies immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor
Maintenance:
- Maintain warehouse orderliness and comply with AWSA storage standards
- Monitor warehouse equipment following company procedures
- Perform in-house repairs as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Inventory Counts:
- Ensure physical inventory matches bills of lading during shipping and receiving
- Assist with customer inventory counts as assigned by the Inventory Manager
What You'll Bring:

- Grade 12 or equivalent supplemented with post-secondary training
- 4+ years related experience
- Driver’s license required
- Valid Forklift licenseÂ
