An exciting Mining Engineering Intern opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Lanigan Potash site beginning January 2027 for an approximate 4-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position reporting to the Chief Mine Engineer at the Lanigan, Saskatchewan site.

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Conduct ventilation surveys
  • Install and monitor ground control instrumentation
  • Assist with conducting ground control audits
  • Collect and input mine engineering data into databases
  • Conduct geological and geophysical surveys

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Enrolled in or recent graduate (within 2 years) of Mining Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering Technology, Mineral Exploration Technology, or equivalent programs
  • Experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environment is preferred
  • Demonstrate positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
  • Superior interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
