What You'll Do:

 

  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees
  • Fit and fabricate pipe using supplied drawings and field verify measurements
  • Field measure and create drawings, if no drawings are available
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to a piping system and determine recommendations for repair
  • Remove/repair/install various components to a piping system using appropriate methods such as proper rigging techniques and in accordance to any relevant standards

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Possess a valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Journeyperson Pipefitter Certificate
  • G12 or Equivalent required
  • Positive safety behavior and safety leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience with all piping mediums such steel, HDPE, stainless
  • Experience with complex rigging techniques to install pipe in difficult locations
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset
  • General/commercial gas ticket is an asset
  • Plumbing experience is an asset
  • Stable history of employment
