Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this position will work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal departments as required to ensure the planning and scheduling process is accurate and completed in a timely manner. The successful candidate for this role will possess exceptional communication skills; acting with tact and diplomacy while also being able to demonstrate superior active listening skills. This position plays a critical role in improving workforce productivity and quality by reducing potential delays and obstacles through strategic planning, coordination of parts, equipment and manpower.

 

What you will do:

  • Develop accurate and safe job plans for day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring parts availability, scope of work, and resource needs are identified
  • Develop and execute all planned outages including job plans and schedules, ensure accuracy of the those plans, and communicate with others to ensure plans meet expectations
  • Work with operations and maintenance teams to create and prioritize the weekly Operations & Maintenance work schedule utilizing the PM scheduling workbench in SAP, develop PM scheduling module to its full potential, and conduct a weekly production scheduling meeting to communicate activities
  • Work closely with Materials Management to ensure all parts and supplies are available to execute planned/scheduled work tasks, order necessary parts and components, maintain equipment bill of materials in SAP and information in equipment files, and develop competitive bids for identified contract work
  • Establish relationships and address conflict through appropriate resolution skills and techniques
  • Work with operations and maintenance to ensure proper work documentation is entered and WO’s closed in a timely manner
  • Assist engineering with project work planning and scheduling

What you will bring:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, OPIS and ETQ
  • 5+ years in an industrial settting
  • Prior experience in planning/scheduling will be considered an asset
  • Ability to read P&ID's, blue prints and equipment files

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

Salary Range for this role is $72,000 - $99,000 per year. This range is estimated for a Planner/Scheduler, Maintenance under the Washington Pay and Opportunities Act . Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
