Nutrien US LLC has opening for Engineer, Projects in Kennewick, WA. Coordinate the execution of capital projects of various engineering disciplines, specifically with respect to mechanical engineering and process/chemical engineering projects.

What you will do:
Â
- Serve as project manager and technical advisor for such projects, which include Zirconium Condenser Shell Upgrades, Rail Scale Replacements, Ammonia Compressor Replacements, for example.
- Lead site growth and expansion projects, from feasibility assessments through execution, to support the site strategic vision.
- Ensure monthly accruals complete and project forecasts updated in accounting database.
- Actively participate in Projects Engineering team and assist with implementing initiatives, lessons learned, and software updates.
- Organize and complete monthly and annual capital project reviews with site and external stakeholders.
- Understand all engineering disciplines to prepare project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans for multi-discipline projects.
- Provide engineering support to the engineering and maintenance groups.
- Oversee and execute site Management of Change (MOC) and non-routine maintenance projects.
- Lead site continuous improvement plan (CIP) and be the site representative on the CIP continuous improvement team.
- Lead turnaround related projects, MOCs, non-routine base maintenance, and maintenance work.
- Support the site Long-Term Plan and site Strategic Vision with respect to projects, growth, and expansion opportunities.

What you will bring:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
- 6 years supervision of construction work, or industrial contracting services, in the petrochemical or similar industries.
- 6 years working with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Projects and Systems Applications and Products in data progressing (SAP).
- 1 years working with planisware project management software PMP, CAPM, CPMP or similar Project Management Certification.
- 4 years in capital accounting practices, including spend forecasting, project value index, budgeting and cost estimating experience.
- 4 years in project management and execution of projects of up to $2M USD.
- 5 years of applied knowledge of Design Codes & Standards such as Process Industry Practices (PIP) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

The salary for this role located in Kennewick, WA is $160,014.00 USD per year. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process. Â
