Discover more about potash at Nutrien! An exciting Co-Op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Lanigan Potash site beginning January 2025 for an 8-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work. This student will report to the Chief Mill Maintenance Engineer.

What you will do:

• Provide technical support on initiatives such as structural integrity, asbestos management, asset reliability and capital planning
• Engineering drawing updates

What you will bring:

• Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Industrial Systems Engineering program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution
• Experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environment in preferred
• Demonstrate positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
• Superior interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
