The Instrumentation Supervisor will report to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent.
This position is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.
What you will do:
- Responsible for the supervision of the Instrumentation crew
- Oversee safe and efficient maintenance of all surface instrumentation equipment and air conditioning systems
- Plan and manage all daily work schedules, ensuring safe and efficient task execution and minimal downtime, including down days, annual shutdowns and capital projects
- Organize and schedule all instrumentation work within the Maintenance system and manage emergency breakdowns and weekly schedule
- Provide planning and scheduling responsibilities for surface Instrumentation. PM/PdM schedules, BOMs, Inventory, Asset Hierarchy, etc.
- Provide a safe workplace by ensuring all site policies and procedures are met
What you will bring:
- A Journeyperson Certificate in Instrumentation, or other relevant education
- 3-5 years’ experience in the Instrumentation trade. Industrial worksites/refinery experience is preferred. Previous supervision and planning experience is also preferred.
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are essential, including the ability to mentor, guide and correct performance where needed
- Demonstrated positive safety behavior and safety leadership; demonstrate a high level of commitment to creating a safe working environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance, planning, scheduling and asset management, and experience with Oracle or other maintenance management systems would be considered an asset
- Motivated individual with the ability to handle a large and varied workload, prioritizing work tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
