Mill Maintenance Electrical Planner - (Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada)
This position reports to the Mill Sr. Maintenance Planner, Mill Maintenance. This position is located at Lanigan mine site, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.
What you will do:
- Provide planning and scheduling responsibilities for the surface Electrical Department and support for Instrumentation Department
- Responsible for sustaining and improving the Mill's Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Program for Electrical Department
- Maintaining PM/PdM schedules and establishing priorities for all electrical maintenance work by coordinating with maintenance and operations personnel
- Responsible for BOMs, Maintenance Inventory, and data entry and maintaining accurate equipment records
- Developing Asset Hierarchy and managing new Capital Assets
- Responsible to maintain an accurate weekly schedule of job tasks
- Providing occasional relief supervision for area, and coordinate/supervise service provider activities as required
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Journeyperson Certificate or technical designation in the Electrical field and/or a Technical Degree from a recognized institution
- The successful candidate would have knowledge in electrical design, industrial power distribution, arc flash and power system studies
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are essential
- Motivated individual with the ability to handle a large and varied workload, prioritizing work tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance, planning, scheduling and asset management
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Experience with Oracle or other Maintenance Management systems would be considered an asset
