This role is required to be on-site.

What you will do:

• Work closely with cotton production managers issuing SAP Grower cotton production contracts, paying acre fees, quality bonuses and buyouts.
• Purchase Fuzzy cotton seed from Cotton Gins. Issuing purchase requisition, purchase orders and managing goods receipt.
• Assist with weighing in trucks and helping at front counter.
• Assist with getting purchase orders issued, including troubleshooting, submitting IT tickets and escalating issues.
• Follow up and help expedite any purchase order creation and amendment and facilitate any goods receipt, return goods or incorrect items that come through receiving.
• Point of contact for external vendors, answering questions that include, but are not limited to, contact information updating, non-payment of invoices, new vendor setups, follow-up exception requests, price changes, purchase orders confirmations and payment terms.
• Assist with P.O.’S for capital projects for cotton plant equipment, site and plant upgrades and Innovation R&D farm equipment.
• Supporting Dyna-Gro cotton delinting and bagging plants, with P.O.’s for chemicals, bags, tags, pallets and seed boxes. Manage purchase order backlog for site to ensure timely arrival of goods and services by tracking and managing purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by Site Manager.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Experience and proficiency using SAP/IBP, Excel, and Word strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP-Procurement and Production strongly preferred.
