What you will do:
- Prepare reports to support allocation of month-end inventory costs across assigned plants and products.
- Post monthly JEs and ensure accurate reporting for plant costs.
- Coordinate Terminal Inventory Reconciliations as well as Terminal Inventory tracking.
- Enter required bottoming adjustments & shrinks/overages to keep system inventory levels accurate.
- Provide support and act as a point of contact with plant accountants.
- Reconcile various balance sheet accounts and provide quarterly variance analysis.
- Ensure SOX compliance and provide recommendations to senior management on developing controls.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline reconciliation tool.
- Understand existing accounting processes and develop ongoing process changes to increase efficiency.
- Verify, maintain, and troubleshoot issues within the HANA database tool.
- Post journal entries as required to ensure accurate Freight and T&D (FT&D) reporting.
- Maintain indirect FT&D cost allocation rates and ensure the related prepaid assets are accurate through various analysis.
- Collaborate with various departments to lead and execute ongoing process improvement initiatives and assist with identifying new areas for improvement.
- Execute required system testing for upgrade/enhancements to software.
- Aid with ad hoc queries requested by senior management or other departments as applicable.
What you will bring:
- Accounting post-secondary degree with intent for attaining CPA designation
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of cost accounting is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle, MSS, SAP ECC, S4, BPC is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically with confidence and speed in execution.
- Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks, projects, stakeholder interests, and deadlines.
- Capable of working with a high level of attention to detail.
- Superior problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated passion for process improvement and for transforming processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insightfulness.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications with a high skill level in Excel (Pivot tables, PowerQuery).
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $71,900 - $123,200. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
