Based on Nutrien IT technology strategy, to digitally accelerate and control key Nutrien business processes, SAP Engineering team requires a SAP UI5 JavaScript developer who can apply a Design Thinking approach to deliver SAP technical solution including Fiori Apps with a focus on user experience and business process outcomes. This role will report to the Senior IT Manager.

 

What you will do:

  • Provide technical solution for SAP system based on subject-matter expertise, SAP best practices, technical approaches, and strategic recommendations aligned to the Nutrien delivery standards to meet the business expectations.
  • Provide Application Management Services in SAP like Incident/problem/change request management.
  • Exhibit leadership to ensure optimal function and enhancement of SAP systems and keeps up to date on the latest SAP industry solutions and trends.
  • Engage in requirements gathering and development of use cases. Support architecture, process, and governance development.
  • Translate architecture specifications to low-level component design and identify customizations for implementation.
  • Ensure requirements are gathered, processes defined, and use cases are documented.
  • Participate in deployment activities, configurations, custom rule development, development, and third-party system integration.
  • Work with post implementation for user testing, debugging, support and maintenance. 
  • Resolve any issues highlighted during System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Help develop technical documents detailing the products, environment and process of identity systems and functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement processes and implement automation initiatives. 

 

What you will bring:

  • Degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
  • 6-8 Years web application development experience with a strong SAP background
  • 3 Years developing UI5 Applications on S/4 HANA
  • Solid background in Modern JavaScript development practices and frameworks. TypeScript experience is a big plus.
  • Fiori UI5, SAP Business Technology Platform experience including Fiori Design patterns, expertise in UI Theme designer; Fiori Launchpad configuration; and proficient with OData concepts such as debugging OData service & extending services.
  • Experience using Fiori Elements OData Annotation Framework.
  • Experience on building mobile applications through SAP Cloud Platform is highly desirable such as experience in IOS native development geared for performance and optimization.
  • SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework - User exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

Salary range for this role is $106,800 - $146,850 USD. This range is estimated for a Developer, SAP Fiori in Loveland, CO. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
