Reporting to the Director, IT Strategy and Change, the Manager of IT Strategic Partnerships will help drive the strategic formation and execution of key IT partnership strategies and plans. This role serves and assists the IT Leadership Team, which is accountable for delivering value-added IT solutions, support, and thought leadership to the Nutrien organization.

 

What you will do:

  • Works with IT Senior Leadership team on developing and executing sourcing and strategic partnership strategies and action plans
  • Identify, source, lead and direct, where appropriate, key strategic vendor relationships addressing performance, risks, costs, contractual issues, and innovation
  • Drives transparency and visibility into the vendor/partner relationships through the design and execution of vendor scorecards and key performance indicators
  • Serves as a consultant to leadership team on all issues related to strategic partnerships and strategic vendor management
  • Leads future roadmap for strategic efforts with our key strategic partners
  • Provides guidance and coaching to strategic partners regarding performance and intelligence related to the technology landscape and strategies
  • Scouts and identifies sourcing and cost savings opportunities to pursue optimization of strategic vendor partnerships
  • Drives innovation and operational excellence through our partnership efforts
  • Provides strategic support and consultation across the IT function


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or another relevant field
  • 8 - 10 years of experience with strategic partnership management and vendor management, including managing stakeholder expectations
  • 8+ years of experience in process improvement, technology deployment, or strategic roles
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic and flexible thinker implementing timely and workable solutions
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Experience working in complex and dynamic environments
  • Exceptional listening and interpretation skills to successfully translate IT’s leadership needs into expected outcomes
  • Effective writing skills with broad range of experience from crafting strategic messaging
  • Proven ability to produce results in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

$117,920 - $162,140 USD. This range is estimated for an IT Strategic Partnerships Manager in Loveland, CO. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
