Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compensation, the Manager, Compensation will oversee and drive Nutrien Ag Solutions’ incentive compensation programs, policies, procedures, and systems. This role ensures alignment with global business objectives and strategies. The Manager, Compensation is responsible for ensuring incentive compensation programs are fair, competitive, and compliant through robust data analysis, strategic development and management.

What you will do:
- Lead Nutrien's Global Incentive Compensation strategy within Nutrien Ag Solutions by partnering with HRBPs, executive business leaders, finance and other stakeholders to align with organizational goals and foster a pay-for-performance culture
- Lead the design, administration, and effectiveness analytics of global incentive compensation programs, ensuring alignment with Nutrien Ag Solutions’ strategic objectives
- Engage with global executive leadership and HR support teams to provide expert advice, interpretations, and solutions regarding incentive compensation policies and practices
- Prepare detailed global compensation-related materials for the board as needed
- Oversee and administer all aspects of annual incentive compensation cycles, including accruals, auditing, eligibility, survey participation, benchmarking, commissions and incentive management
- Responsible for accurate incentive and commission calculations, to include quality reviews and audits
- Lead training and communication initiatives on incentive compensation programs across the global organization
- Use open dialogue, effective listening, and strong relationship-building to become a trusted partner of the organization
- Actively participate in enterprise-wide compensation projects to ensure consistency and strategic alignment with broader organizational goals
- Lead and manage merger and acquisition projects through effective change management and integration activities
- Manage and mentor a high-performing incentive compensation team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve strategic goals and optimize program effectiveness

What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years progressive compensation experience or related HR experience
- 5 years’ experience with sales compensation and bonus program administration and planning required
- Prefer Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) certification
- Excellent understanding in all areas of compensation, including job architecture, short and long-term incentive plan design/administration and financial acumen
- Experience with HRIS systems, benchmarking and compensation systems
- SAP and SuccessFactors compensation modules experience preferred
- Knowledge of relevant US, Canada Federal, State/Provincial, Local laws/regulations related to compensation
- Knowledge of compensation regulatory environments in Latin America and Australia preferred
- Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
- Advanced Excel skills and proficient in MS Office Suite
- Ability to utilize consultative expertise and practical insights to shape and drive effective compensation programs and recommendations, demonstrating leadership and influence across all organizational levels
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range is $98,400 - $135,300. This range is estimated for Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
