Reporting to the Director, Finance Retail NA Supply Chain

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise a team of Rebate Analysts across Crop Protection, Seed and Fertilizer
  • Cultivate financial business partnership to the Sr. Director of Fertilizer, Seed, and Chemical Procurement and other key stakeholders.
  • Support strategic supplier managers (SSMs) in the development, negotiation, tracking, implementation and redemption of supplier contracts and business plans to maximize working capital, rebates and achieve agreed upon objectives.
  • Understand new business strategies, provide recommendations for automated solutions to support new or existing strategies and implement the proposed solutions within budgeted resources and timelines.
  • Facilitate monthly Rebate reporting, quarterly forecasts and annual plan across all suppliers, while engaging stakeholders for commentary and variance analysis
  • Utilize predictive analytics and key market indicators to supply strategic foresight into business risks and opportunities. Clearly communicate understanding of business financial performance through preparation and discussion with key executive leadership/stakeholders and recommend remedial options.
  • Support SSMs in the maintenance and analysis of Segmentation/Vistex rebates (product level impact analysis and PO Based Rebates)
  • Review and ensure both ARS and SAP data is set up and reflected correctly as it relates to Vistex and Segmentation agreements.
  • Review and ensure monthly rebate accruals are correct and reviewed with shelf directors to accurately reflected in income.
  • Ensure rebate audit process is understood and aligned with shelf directors, suppliers and rebate accounting.
  • Drive business plan achievement and improved end to end margins by modeling and analyzing customer and program profitability.
  • Develop, build and maintain analytical models and performance metrics in support of the business.
  • Drive proper evaluation of business cases detailing financial implications supported by financial modeling of various “what-if” scenarios
  • Become a data steward and Ensure data quality and continuous data improvement through EDI, B2B and other systems and processes.
  • Responsible for Vistex Implementation, and structure for prompt and correct rebate redemption
  • Be a collaborative and contributing leader on the Strategic Supplier Management team.

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree is required, MBA is optional.
  • Minimum of 8+ years' with progressive experience in accounting, finance, data analytics for insights and people leadership/ management.
  • A combination of education and skills will be considered including past supplier experience, retail and/or wholesale analytics, program redemption, risk management, accounting, controls and compliance and negotiations.
  • Must have proven excellent leadership skills.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
  •        Must have the ability to collaborate with others and work across a matrix environment, including customers/suppliers.
  • Effectively demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness and results orientation.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Must have the ability to deal with ambiguity in a multi-system environment with the ability to transition from Segmentation to Foundation / Vistex.
  • Must have the ability to translate complex and difficult problems into clear concise and actionable solutions.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage people, priorities and projects simultaneously. Meet deadlines inherent to the function and effectively learn to manage and meet stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen are required.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

Salary Range: $98,400 - $135,300 USD. This range is estimated for the Manager, Rebates NA Supply Chain position in Loveland, CO. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan [insert when Ltip eligible], consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
