Reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounting, the Manager, Corporate Accounting, will be responsible for the management of base accounting ERPs, and responsible for various accounting areas including Other Income reporting and analysis, share-based compensation and Share capital accounting, and commitments reporting and management. This position requires a high degree of cross-department and cross-business unit interaction. The Corporate Accounting department operates with a significant number of deadlines and reporting obligations and as such, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
What you will do:
- Responsible for the management of accounting areas including other income analysis and reporting, FX analysis and reporting and commitments management and reporting.
- Responsible for share-based compensation accounting including the review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Oversight of NPKC variance analysis process and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial close processes and reporting, including month-end close of base ERP accounting systems (Oracle, ECC, and S4).
- Oversight and maintenance of accounting systems, including Oracle and ECC, ensuring data integrity, system access reviews, and successful system upgrades or UAT initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and participate in working committees as required.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Lead and manage a small team.
- Preparation and review of other month-end close activities including coordination of internal and external stakeholders and auditor requests as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to find efficiencies in processes with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Manage additional ad-hoc requests as required.
What you will bring:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA/CA/CMA/CGA).
- 8 years’ experience in positions of expanding responsibility, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role considered an asset.
- Demonstrated time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure and to meet deadlines with multiple ongoing initiatives; ability to exercise strong professional judgment with integrity and strong business ethics.
- Detail oriented while also having a broad conceptual understanding of the application of accounting and materiality in a multifaceted business environment; analytical and strategic mindset and initiative.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Possess an automation and efficiency mindset.
- Experience using SAP, Oracle and BPC consolidation system would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with Hana would be an asset.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $87,000 - $149,100. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
