This role will be posted from September 10th, 2025 - September 25th, 2025
Duties: Develop deep understanding of our Nitrogen Real-Time Operation Center (NROC) technology platform, including elements of data, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud services. Assess NROC technology requirements and recommend improvements. Execute basic changes in NROC custom and 3rd party applications using organizational best practices and with support and standards from relevant Centers of Excellence (COEs). Interact with engineering and site subject matter experts(SMEs) to design the fit and finish of the application landscape as in support of NROC and individual SME goals. Coordinate capture and prioritize requirements for NROC technologies and user experience from SMEs. Partner with the NROC Data Scientist and Unified Operations Center (UOC) Technologist to determine optimal application configuration for user experience and success of the NROC SMEs. Plan, coordinate and execute significant enhancements across technology, engineering, and operations domains for NROC specific application implementations. Identify where applications and app integrations can provide value to NROC, the larger Nitrogen business unit and beyond. Contribute to the development of enhancements to global Information and Digital Solutions technologies leveraged by NROC in the engineering, and operations domains.

Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. 3 years of Nitrogen facility specific business analysis and operations;
2. 3 years of engineering application development and sustainment experience;
3. 1 year in producing and or consuming Swagger;
4. 1 year in OpenAPI or REST API;
5. 1 year in React, C# or .net Core development test and deployment practices;
6. 1 year in AWS API Gateway, Lambda and CloudWatch use and development;
7. 1 year in AWS Dynamo DB, S3 and ECS; and
8. Time-series data sets, visualizations, consumers and calculators and business-critical dependencies.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary for this role, in Loveland is $139,568 per year. While we provide this salary as guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
