As a Sr. IAM Analyst at Nutrien, you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and governance of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. This role is critical to ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant access to systems and data across the enterprise. You will lead efforts to define and enforce identity standards, support access management initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption of best practices. This position requires a strong understanding of IAM principles, directory services, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to influence change across a complex organization.

 

What you will do:

  • IAM Governance and Operations
    • Serve as the IAM Governance SME with a focus on directory services.
    • Develop and maintain account standards and oversee their implementation in Active Directory.
    • Lead the standardization of account types and enforce access management and control policies.
    • Support and guide stakeholders in meeting account governance requirements.
    • Coordinate with organizational change management (OCM), communications, and other teams to drive enterprise-wide adoption of IAM standards.
  • Access Management and Controls
    • Help develop and maintain Conditional Access policies.
    • Support access management projects including revocation of access post-role change and permission grants.
    • Develop and implement authentication standards (e.g., WHFB, FIDO2).
    • Maintain and evolve policies related to digital identities, access management, and access control.
  • Strategic Enablement
    • Lead the implementation and enforcement of IAM standards across the enterprise.
    • Provide thought leadership in the IAM governance space.
    • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
    • Contribute to Nutrien’s passwordless journey and other strategic identity initiatives.
    • Mentor Jr. IAM Analysts in order to grow Nutrien’s overall IAM maturity.

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IAM operations, governance, or engineering.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to lead IAM governance initiatives and influence enterprise-wide change.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for identity security and a commitment to continuous improvement in access governance.
  • Deep understanding of identity governance, access control models, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID).
  • Experience with Conditional Access, authentication standards, and account lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SoX, PCI, CPPA, CCPA).
  • Experience supporting audit and evidence collection processes.
  • Strong documentation and policy development skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

The salary range for this role, in Loveland, Colorado, is between $115,900-$198,600. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
