Reporting to the Director - IT Site Support, as Sr Manager, IT, Corporate, Client Services you will be responsible for providing technical and professional leadership for the Information Technology personnel at the Corporate Offices located around the world. The Site IT team provides outstanding customer service while owning and operating a robust and reliable IT infrastructure that our business partners depend upon. We accomplish this by leveraging our unparalleled knowledge of each site and cultivating trust and collaboration.
This position requires building and maintaining trusted relationships with Senior Executives, their leadership teams and the executive admins, as well as other IT Infrastructure and Security teams and the rest of the IT Site Support organization. The scope of this role includes responsibility for the advancement and support of technology at our sites including end-user technology (i.e. Workstations, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and printers), infrastructure (i.e. wired LAN, wireless LAN, server, storage, voice, video, and collaboration), desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, Teams, and others), security (cameras and physical access systems) and other locally hosted applications. The position is responsible for managing local on-site teams of dedicated technology professionals at each operating location, who are responsible for supporting and enabling the various technologies required for safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
This position will be required to maintain a noticeable presence on each of the assigned Corporate Offices as well as some travel (<25%) to other Nutrien sites.
What you will do:
- Lead, mentor, and support the Site IT employees and contractors at assigned sites
- Ensure site IT personnel are empowered to perform their job
- Provide high-quality support of site Information Technology systems at assigned sites
- Ensure procedures are in place, following industry best practices and Nutrien IT standards, for system security, efficient system operations, routine maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements
- Ensure accurate documentation for all supported systems is current and accessible by authorized personnel
- Facilitate communication between IT Site Support teams to identify shared requirements and opportunities for common solutions
- Ensure proper financial management of the Site IT function across assigned sites
- Prepare an annual budget, monitor expenses, and submit monthly forecasts for the Site IT function at assigned sites
- Seek opportunities for cost reduction through coordination of consolidated purchasing across assigned sites, in collaboration with peers responsible for other Potash, Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Retail sites as well as the other technology towers within the InfraSec organization.
- Define, implement and operate the global strategy to provide world-class technology solutions in the following areas:
- Workgroup Printing services at all Nutrien office locations. Specialty printing requirements supporting manufacturing, laboratories, and enterprise applications may leverage the overall print environment, but operate separately. Includes ownership of the recommended hardware, software and printer configurations required for effective and cost-efficient services.
- Conference Room Technologies – Working with the End-User Computing and Collaboration team, define, implement and operate the technologies that enhance individual and group participation through the use of the provided communication, collaboration, and workgroup productivity technologies.
- Technology support of all training rooms. Ensure the technology supplied in the rooms is sufficient for delivery of the training materials. Develop and execute the processes to efficiently reset the equipment so it is ready for the next training event scheduled. Support the person or organization providing the training on the use of the technology in the training room.
- Own, maintain and execute on the VIP White Glove processes and technologies used in support of the senior executives and executive admins that reside at or visit the Nutrien sites. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Setup, support and facilitate the use of executive level meeting spaces, communication technologies and personal computing and communication devices.
- Work with the communications team and executive admins to produce public, executive and companywide events, such as earnings calls with investors, Town Halls, media events, and management training.
- Provide support of work from home and mobile solutions for our top executives and ensure they can be productive while at home or travelling.
- Manage risk for the Site IT function
- Regularly assess risk and develop risk mitigation plans for all supported technologies, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility needs of the organization are met
- Ensure IT infrastructure supports business resiliency requirements
- Prevent unauthorized access to systems
- Promote Cyber Security Awareness
- Proactively assess the risk of proposed new technology assets
What you will bring:
- Degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer related field
- 10 or more years of related IT experience, including a minimum of 2 years IT supervisory experience
- Safety Leadership – Promote Safety first in all we do
- A proven history of continuous learning in the areas of leadership, technology, financial management and communications
- The ability to motivate, coach and mentor direct reports as required
- Open and transparent with other teams. Demonstrated ability to work together with others to provide the best possible business support and outcomes
- Experience acting calmly and competently in high-pressure situations such as business impacting and/or cybersecurity incidents
- Innovative mindset – A forward thinker who has shown ability to inject new technology and innovative ideas to support business needs

- Knowledge of the industrial plant sites, operations, and inter-dependency of departments

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $127,500 - $218,600. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
