What You'll Do:
Â
- Assist laboratory supervisor and laboratory technicians in preparing samples for analysis (including log in, grinding, weighing, washing, set-up, etc.).
- Assist laboratory supervisor and laboratory technicians in preparing necessary reagents as needed.
- Assist the laboratory technicians and the laboratory supervisor in reporting and maintaining quality control measures as they are established and/or developed.
- Assist the laboratory technicians in performing and maintaining approved and established standard analytical procedures.
- Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of stock solutions, reagents, and consumables necessary for laboratory operation.
- Maintain proficiency in most lab procedures.
- Assist in developing customer goodwill and support.
- Perform clean-up duties as may be required (i.e. cleaning glassware and other apparatus, dumping trash cans, cleaning counters, etc.).
- Perform rudimentary chemical procedures as required (such as pH and Ec).
- Assist in maintaining customer goodwill and support.
- Follow all corporate safety policies and procedures.
- All other duties that may be assigned
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Two+ years laboratory experience or an equivalent degreeÂ
- Knowledge of Chemistry and MathematicsÂ
- Computer experience with MS Office Applications preferred Â
- Good manual dexterity and good vision & hearing Â
- Ability to stoop & bend frequently Â
- Ability to walk & stand during entire shift Â
- Ability to climb stairs & laddersÂ

Compensation & Benefits:Â
Â
The salary range for this role, in Madera, CA location, is between $17.00 - $24.00. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

Our benefit package provides paid sick days. However, given the temporary nature of this role, this position does not participate in any other benefit, retirement savings or paid time off programs, nor any form of incentive compensation. This position is eligible for overtime and any pay elements required under local, state or federal law. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations. Â
