What You'll Do:

- Adhere to and actively support all plant safety, environmental, food safety, and quality programs, including compliance with OSHA regulations, FSMA requirements, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in site safety processes, conduct housekeeping and safety inspections, review accident/injury investigations, implement corrective actions, and promptly identify and report safety, quality, or food safety concerns to management.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, rotary feeders, grinding mills, hydraulic systems, bearings, seals, and other plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, align, and fabricate mechanical components using welding and oxy-acetylene equipment as needed.
- Complete assigned work orders, maintenance tasks, requisitions, and documentation while supporting daily maintenance objectives and routine plant operations.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize downtime and support efficient plant operations.
- Assist in maintenance electrical work as needed and serve as Maintenance Supervisor lead backup when assigned.
- Respond to plant breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations, including on-call responsibilities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain operating procedures and systems consistent with safety, quality, environmental, and cost objectives.
- Operate plant processes to optimize the production of safe, high-quality products in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Perform production, quality, sanitation, and housekeeping activities, and take action to prevent or contain nonconforming products until deficiencies are corrected.
- Maintain required records and documentation related to production, product disposition, corrective actions, quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Actively utilize and participate in site work orders and requisitions

What You'll Bring:

- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Industrial Maintenance role
- Welding Experience Required/ Welding Certificate preferred
