The goal of the Agronomy Internship is to provide the intern with valuable training from salesman and agronomists studying and identifying pressures in the field, and to contribute to efforts toward building local data on our products. This paid internship will provide students with exposure to agronomics, sales, operations, customer service, and more.

 

What you will do:

  • Work with a primary Crop Consultant
  • Inspect customer fields for weeds, insects, disease, and fertility deficiencies and document
  • Conduct tissue, water, and soil sampling
  • Communicate observations to Nutrien branch representative and back to the customer
  • Assist in product deliveries to customers, with timeliness, efficient communication, and required paperwork

 

What you will bring:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in an Agriculture related program with a graduation date of Aug 2023 or later
  • Willingness and ability to work outside or in warehouse environments
  • Must live within a daily driving distance of a Nutrien location (specify) as housing assistance is not provided. Locations can be viewed at www.nutrienagsolutions.com/find-location
  • Valid driver’s license
