What you will do:

A specialized area of Corporate Affairs focused on active involvement with the communities in which an organization operates including:

• Planning and implementing programs to improve the economic, social, and/or environmental quality of life in the community (e.g., community involvement/volunteering, company/employee giving, grant making, environmental clean-up, etc.)
• Building/maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with local business groups, community representatives, and not-for-profit organizations
• Coordinating community outreach to promote the organization’s image in a positive and community-oriented way (internal events, facility tours, fairs, and other community events) In some organizations the work may also include: Implementing and monitoring performance metrics to demonstrate achievement of corporate responsibility objectives
• Working with business leadership on approaches for addressing complex/sensitive community issues, targeting locations for initiatives, etc.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years in agricultural setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
