What You'll Do:

 

  • Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory operations. Plan laboratory workload, including sample flow, testing schedules and resource allocation
  • Perform and support routine and non-routine analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods in accordance with approved test methods and specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to laboratory staff for analytical methods, instrumentation and data interpretation
  • Review analytical results, laboratory documentation, Certificate of Analysis (COAs) to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with quality standards
  • Ensure proper operation, calibration, qualification and preventive maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Lead or support laboratory investigations including deviations, non-conformances, out of specifications (OOS) results, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure laboratory activities comply with internal quality systems, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide direct supervision and coaching to laboratory staff, including technicians and chemists, supporting performance management and professional development
  • Support development, revision and implementation of laboratory SOPs, analytical methods, and technical documentation
  • Monitor laboratory performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and operational reliability
  • Promote and maintain strong laboratory safety practices, including proper chemical handling, waste management, and adherence to safety requirements
  • Act as a leader and example for the company’s Behavioral Standards, which focus on Safety, Integrity, Inclusion, Performance, Community, and Innovation
  • Perform other duties and technical assignments as required to support laboratory operations and organizational objectives

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry Soil Science, Agronomy, Chemical Engineering or related field or ; 3+ years of hands-on experience in an analytical or quality laboratory 
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership, coordination or supervisory experience
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems, documentation, and investigation processes
  • Experience working in GMP, ISO or similarly regulated environments
  • Experience training or supporting new laboratory staff
