This position is located at the Patience Lake Potash site and reports to the Senior Process Engineer.

 

What you will do:

 

- Responsible for the timely and orderly flow of sample analysis in the laboratory

- Ensure the accuracy of all analytical information processed

- Report significant deviations from standards to the Senior Process Engineer

- Expeditiously completing routine shipment, mill control analysis, and mine field samples

- Participate in the Laboratory QA/QC program

- Fully support and follow lab procedures and safety policies

- Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment

 

What you will bring:

 

-  Chemical Technology Diploma or equivalent degree program

- Familiarity with basic laboratory instrumentation, standard operating procedures and safe work practices

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable multi- tasking and working with multiple functions in a team environment

- Demonstrated self-motivation, analytical, problem-solving skills, and the initiative to achieve desired outcomes

- Ability to operate and calibrate analytical instrumentation (XRF, AA, pH meter, balances, etc.)

-  Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

-  Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
