This position is located in Point Lisas, Trinidad and is not available for remote work.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Understand the elements of creating a safe work environment for all employees/contractors by being knowledgeable of and compliant with all applicable safety, health and environmental (SHE) requirements, leading by example, and promoting a positive SHE attitude/culture to all.

  • Evaluate non-resident contractor performance, including quality & safety performance.

  • Monitor and confirm that all requirements of the routine maintenance work process are fulfilled consistently and effectively to continuously improve the process and ensure goals are met, to include emphasis on company-set maintenance, planning and scheduling  key performance indicators (KPI’s).

  • Ensure compliance to risk management workflows to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance and project work.
  • Review the New Work Arising Report daily and interface with the Production Specialist to identify where planning effort should be focused to achieve optimal work scheduling
  • Develop the scope of each work order and plan all required resources.
  • Track area planning backlog & work orders from creation to completion ensuring data is current, complete & accurate and a “healthy” backlog is being maintained.
  • Track rebuildable (Serialized and Non-Serialized) repairs to ensure essential spares (rebuildables) are on hand for maximum plant reliability.
  • Assist with preparation of the Primavera/Viziya schedule, utilizing the information from eAM for all jobs and assist with updating the schedule during execution.
  • Provide planning support for major plant and capital projects; making recommendations on projects such as timeline, labor requirements, work scope, & material.

  • Follow the Management of Change Process to document & implement plant process safety management  (PSM) changes.

 

What you will bring:

 

  • MET, EEET/EET or equivalent Technician Diploma with at least 5 years execution experience in the petrochemical industry OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 3 years execution experience in the petrochemical industry
  • Diploma in Project Management
  • Certificate of training in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
