In Trinidad & Tobago, we operate one of the world's largest nitrogen complexes with 4 ammonia plants and 1 urea plant on 165 acres of Trinidad's sheltered west coast.  

 

 

What you will do:

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of warehouse and tool stores personnel, including assigning tasks, and providing guidance and training.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, equipment and materials, including receiving, storing, storage, quality assurance and issuing items as needed while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, planning and procurement departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock and proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory tracking software to track inventory movement and generate reports.
  • Oversee the distribution of tools and equipment to various departments, contractors, and project sites, ensuring that the right items are delivered promptly and in good condition.
  • Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counting, stocktaking, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies, to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize losses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse and tool stores operations, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and participating in meetings as required.
  • Assist with optimizing warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization and efficiency, making recommendations for process improvements as needed.
  • Assist with inventory planning and forecasting to support business goals and customer demand.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, stores management, or a similar role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity, preferably in a petrochemical environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system is required.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional Designation (e.g., CIPS, APICS CPIM) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Repair and Operating Spares Management and strategies is preferred.
