What You'll Do:
Â
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Nutrien safety policies and procedures
- Use the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees
- Day to day general maintenance of the Powerhouse
- Operate the Water Treatment Plant
- Operate in relief of powerhouse operators
- Light preventative maintenance of all HVAC and make up air equipment

What You'll Bring:
Â
- Second Class Engineer’s Certificate preferred but may consider Third class ticket holder working toward Second class ticket
- Potable water treatment experience would also be an asset
- Positive Safety behavior and safety leadership
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
- Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
- Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions
- Stable work record with 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial environment is an asset
