Reporting to the Capital Planning & Controls Sr. Supervisor, as a Planner you will be accountable for developing high quality job plans to be used for execution of turnaround and capital activities. The planner is an expert in their discipline and is responsible to provide plans for execution steps with the right materials, tools, and documentation for the work to be executed safely and efficiently.

- Planner, Metals
- Planner, Electrical
- Planner, Millwright
What You'll Do:
- Applies actual field condition information, relevant technical data, trade knowledge, personal experience, and where appropriate, input from maintenance, operations, and technical resources to develop high quality executable plans.
- Participates in troubleshooting activities and works with reliability and engineering teams to determine the best approach for repair.
- Ensures all plans developed are consistent with the Nutrien Planning Standards. This will include safety procedures, maintenance standards/procedures, identification of required resources, estimated task durations, materials, equipment, and services required to execute the work identified.
- Plan TAR & Capital related work orders by analyzing job steps, determining sequence and dependencies, identifying parts, materials, equipment, special tools, and skills, and estimating personnel requirements for each step.
- Ensure all plans comply with Nutrien Planning Standards, including safety procedures, maintenance standards, resource identification, estimated task durations, and required materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop and maintain Task Lists to ensure accurate records aligned with Nutrien planning standards. Assist in updating Bills of Materials (BOM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans as required.
- Support peers on planning best practices and leading standards.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma
- Journeyperson ticket
- 10+ years’ experience in an industrial process setting
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of their discipline, respected among peers
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to determine root cause and develop a solution. Experience with basic problem solving or 5-Why is required.
- Attention to detail: Ability to identify the right amount of detail for safe execution of the work
- Strong organizational skills: Ability to organize information
- Excellent interpersonal communication: Facilitating meetings, receiving and conveying information between stake holders and team members
- Working knowledge of computer systems and data management systems including SAP and Microsoft Office.
