This role is located in Rocanville, SK and is not eligible for remote work.

What you will do:

• Design and maintenance of high voltage power grid to ensure safety regulations and production demands are met.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team to provide technical expertise for various projects underground as it pertains to electrical and instrumentation requirements including: design, drafting, cost analysis, etc
• Work with the Maintenance and Production Departments to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of maintenance activities. Ensure solutions are based on sound engineering practices and most economical design
• Review engineering specifications/drawings and propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements.
• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers and safety leadership to site personnel

What you will bring:

• P. ENG designation and eligibility to register in Saskatchewan
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience preferably in the mining industry
• High Voltage experience and knowledge
• Experience with ETAP software
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Microstation is considered an asset
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of safe work practices.
• Ability to prioritize, make sound decisions, and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
• Effective troubleshooting skills - analytical, critical thinking and problem solving.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various departments and individuals (internal and external)
