This position is located at the Nutrien Rocanville Potash Site.  Reports to Mill General Superintendent.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Work with the site to help deliver safe and efficient production of potash by leading and managing the Maintenance Engineering team to support milling operations
  • Safety leader of a multidiscipline engineering team that provides engineering, drafting, and in-field technical support for the maintenance, operations, and capital teams
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, prioritizing safety and inclusion
  • Support and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Capital on the prioritization of engineering projects as needs arise while managing and meeting long term site needs.
  • Champion stakeholder engagement and collaboration on and across sites creating a culture of trust to foster innovation
  • Recruiting, teaching, coaching, and mentoring of engineering resources
  • Mature and sustain mechanical, electrical, and structural integrity programs

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Engineering Degree, P. Eng. designation preferred
  • 7 years or more progressive experience in leading and managing a multidiscipline engineering team
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Mining Industry background preferred
  • Strong safety commitment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong leadership skills to bring accountability to your team by being supportive and motivating
  • Previous experience of managing dynamic teams
  • Strong leader, motivator, coach, communicator, team player, and well-organized
