This position is located at the Nutrien Rocanville site.
What you will do:
- Develop project ideas into standard deliverable products ready for the stage gate process

Create clear and attainable project objectives in consultation with stakeholders, sponsors, subject matter experts (SME's) and the Portfolio manager
- Collect and document project requirements verbally in WBS and schedules
- Identify, communicate and manage risk associated to the project
- Facilitate development of required stage deliverables
- Ensure that all milestone and/or key deliverables within a stage have been reviewed and accepted by stakeholders
- Complete financial approval documents (Cost estimates, requisitions, requests for funding)
- Monitor and manage project performance - cost, schedule, scope and quality
- Manage change requests through the Project Change requests
- Communicate project performance and changes with stakeholders
- Manage and communicate with Project Team
- Ensure the deliverables for each stage are completed and ready for submission for approval

Ensure that all funding request documents are complete and ready for submission for approval
What you will bring:
-
PMP or other formal project administration training would be considered an asset
-
On-site heavy industrial or potash milling experience would be considered an asset
- Minimum 4-6 years experience guiding projects and/or major maintenance projects
- Ability to effectively communicate, written and oral, with a variety of stakeholders - internal and external
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Highly motivated
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, Oracle, Jira, financial management software, P6 scheduling are all considered assets
- Experience with project coordination, construction administration, supervision, quality assurance/control, and procurement are all considered assets
