Discover more about potash at Nutrien! An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Rocanville Potash Mine beginning May 2025 for a 4-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position reporting to the Reliability Manager, and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

• Contribute to Reliability Initiatives including lubrication contamination control, asset strategy evaluation, and other assorted Management of Change (MOC) projects
• Conduct failure investigations and present Root Cause Analysis findings
• Develop Scopes of Work/Standard Procedures and assist execution supervisors as required

What you will bring:

• Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term
• Demonstrate positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
• Willing to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
• Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and nurture projects forward
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing and complex priorities
• Alignment with Nutrien’s purpose and values
• Preference will be given to candidates with mining or heavy industrial experience
