Discover more about potash at Nutrien! An exciting student opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Rocanville site beginning May 2026 for a 4-month summer term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.
What You'll Do:
As a Summer Student, you may be assigned to a variety of duties, which could include:
- Assisting regular employees with their duties.
- Performing Low risk mill clean up, miscellaneous painting projects.
- Conducting general clean up in outdoor areas, offices, and other workspaces.
- Maintaining grass, flower beds and other landscaping.
- Washing windows and detailing vehicles.
- Completing miscellaneous errands and other assigned tasks.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and positive safety leadership.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the work term.
- Must be currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary program and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from May 2026 to August 2026.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in mining, heavy industrial environments, or comparable work settings is considered an asset.
- Ability to adapt to various work environments and perform physically active tasks as required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in completing assigned duties.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in contributing to team objectives.
