What You'll Do:
Â
- Provide operational support across all Phosphate sites
- Facilitate classroom workshops on Safety Leadership
- Coach leaders within Nutrien’s operations on how to effectively engage others in safety
- Engage and challenge employees to strive for continuous safety performance improvement
- Facilitate appropriate coaching and training plans for leaders
- Provide leadership, feedback, and support for updating and improvements to the business unit safety strategy
- Attend safety meetings, present information and provide feedback as required
- Provide support for site and business unit special projects, as needed
What You'll Bring:
Â
- 10 years of experience in a chemical or refining facility, with supervisor experience preferred
- Ability to effectively facilitate learning in classroom and one-on-one environments
- Advanced coaching skills, and the ability to support the development of others
- Self–motivation and discipline, requiring little to no direct supervision
- Ability to concurrently deal with multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of Canadian and US environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Knowledge of company policies and guidelines with the ability to extract pertinent information from resource materials and incorporate into field practice
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships with all departments and all levels of leadership
- The incumbent will be required to travel to Nutrien’s Phosphate Operations on a regular basis
