Reporting to the Manager, Benefits Administration, this role is responsible for the accounting related aspects of retirement and benefits for the North American business units. This role works across multiple geographically dispersed departments including Corporate Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, and IT as well as across multiple ERPs including Oracle and SAP.

What You'll Do:
Â
- Manage benefit and retirement billing processes, including vendor invoice processing, self-billed invoicing and report generation
- Streamline and consolidate billing processes across Canada and the US
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance data accuracy and reduce manual effort
- Manage vendor setup and maintenance requests to support invoice processing
- Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to support billing and payment processes, provide documentation, and resolve invoice and payment-related issues
- Review and validate benefit and retirement premiums and investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies to ensure accurate vendor charges and allocations
- Prepare and maintain procedural documentation for benefit and retirement billing processes, reports and inquiries. Conduct audits of uncollected U.S. benefit deductions, resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance
- Prepare annual Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order entries
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Human resources or equivalent experience and certification
- 3+ years of relevant work experience ideally in the pension and/or benefit space
- Experience with US and Canada HR data, business rules and legislative requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with multiple functions and in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented, team environment. Â
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, sound judgment, investigative and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Technology skills including MicroSoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint at intermediate level required
- Understanding of payroll and payroll processes
- SAP, Success Factors and ServiceNow experience preferred
- Demonstrated strengths in time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and respond appropriately to urgent requests.Â
- Solution-oriented with demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and team members
- Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team within an open plan corporate office environment
