Discover more about Potash at Nutrien! An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Saskatoon, SK office beginning May 2025 for a 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. The position reports to the Senior Process Control Engineer.

 

What you will do:

  • Assist in designing and implementing process control, instrumentation and data historian solutions at the Divisions
  • Participate in hands-on projects in Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell ControlLogix and OSIsoft PI Server
  • Develop and implement custom potash specific instrumentation
  • Provide support to troubleshoot existing systems and contribute to new solution design, development, implementation, analysis and testing

 

What you will bring:

  • Three completed years of an Electrical Engineering, Electronic Information Systems Engineering or Chemical Engineering Degree program from a recognized university
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Thorough proficiency in MS-Office, math and technology application
