An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Calgary, AB or Saskatoon, SK office. Providing invaluable work experience in a growing company, this term position will begin in January 2025 for 8 months.
What you will do:
- You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort for the global tax planning team.
- You will be working on the following projects:
- Optimize Tax Billing Process.
- Create and optimize Tax Attribute Database. We have a huge amount of attribute data from different sources, and you will help with creating the central database and streamline the process.
- Work with Tax Planning Senior Manager to identify/design automation opportunities not mentioned above.
- Tax knowledge is not required. Computer science/tech background preferred.
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled in a 2 to 4 year Computer Science degree or equivalent related program with a graduation date of Aug 2025 or later
