We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant to provide strategic and operational support to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a high-impact, high-trust role at the center of the organization. The Executive Assistant acts as a strategic partner—bringing structure, clarity, and efficiency to complex priorities while enabling senior leaders to focus on critical business objectives. The role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:
Â
- Executive & Strategic Support:
- Manage and optimize the CEO’s calendar with a forward-looking, strategic lens—prioritizing time based on business impact and urgency
- Anticipate executive needs, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment with key priorities
- Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and C-suite, supporting decision-making through preparation, coordination, and follow-through
- Provide weekly, and monthly meeting materials to ensure executives are fully prepared for upcoming priorities
- Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact between CEO and internal/external stakeholders
- Manage, screen, and prioritize high volumes of communication, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
- Draft and edit executive-level communications and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- Review and edit presentations as required
- Build strong relationships across senior leadership, board members, and external partners
- Meeting & Governance Support:
- Coordinate materials, and briefing documents for executive meetings, board interactions, and key initiatives
- Liaising with the Manager, Executive Events, Experience and Special Projects, provide overviews for leadership meetings, offsites, and executive events
- Support governance processes, including preparation and distribution of confidential materials
- Operational Excellence:
- Manage complex domestic and international travel, logistics, and expense reporting
- Oversee scheduling across multiple executives and time zones, ensuring efficiency and alignment
- Maintain organized systems, files, and documentation to support executive operations
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, communication, and workflow clarity
- Project & Cross-Functional Support:
- Support execution of strategic initiatives across the Nutrien Leadership Team
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and ensure alignment on key deliverables
- Assist in preparing reports for the Nutrien Leadership Team
- Manage special projects and ad hoc assignments with minimal supervision
What You'll Bring:
Â
- 7–10+ years of experience supporting senior executives, including direct support to CEO
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume executive schedules in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
- High level of discretion and experience handling confidential information
- Ability to anticipate needs, think ahead, and operate independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools
- Experience supporting board-level interactions or executive committees is required
