Job Summary

Purpose Serves as the senior hands-on technical builder within AI Engineering — translating business opportunities into production-ready AI solutions and reusable AI capabilities, while raising the engineering bar through code review and mentorship of junior AI engineers.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning, generative AI, and agentic solutions — RAG, knowledge assistants, enterprise copilots, predictive analytics, and workflow automation agents
  • Act as the primary code reviewer for the AI engineering team, owning code quality standards, review turnaround, and merge approval for AI solution and agent codebases
  • Provide structured mentorship and technical coaching to junior AI Engineers, AI Cloud Developers, and contractor developers — pairing, design walkthroughs, and skill development plans
  • Partner day to day with the AI Architect, converting architecture patterns and reference designs into working, scalable implementations and feeding practical build constraints back into architecture decisions
  • Own technical solution delivery end to end: solution design input, experimentation, production deployment, and post-deployment technical ownership
  • Implement MLOps and deployment standards — CI/CD for AI, model monitoring, retraining, version and lifecycle management — in partnership with AI Platforms & Operations
  • Contribute to reusable AI assets: shared prompts, AI frameworks, enterprise AI services, and agent orchestration patterns
  • Apply Responsible AI guardrails and technical standards in every solution delivered

What You'll Bring:

  • 6+ years in software/ML engineering with 3+ years delivering production AI/ML or GenAI systems
  • Deep Python plus modern AI stack: LLM orchestration frameworks, vector databases, feature stores, RAG pipelines, agent frameworks
  • Strong cloud engineering background (model hosting, AI development environments, containerized deployment) and MLOps/CI-CD depth
  • Demonstrated record of leading code reviews and mentoring engineers in a delivery team
  • Proven ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with architects to take a pattern from design to production

What You'll Get:

  • Purpose-Driven Work – Make an impact as part of a global team feeding the future and support farmers locally and around the world
  • Excellent Benefits – Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, plus a retirement program with generous employer matching for your future
  • Grow Your Career – Tuition assistance for future education and ongoing learning and training opportunities for career advancement pathways across the organization
  • Support When it Matters – Employee Assistance Programs, inclusive leaves, and paid time for holidays, volunteering, vacation, and wellness
  • Thrive in a Strong Culture – Guided by our core values we put safety first, act with integrity, are stronger together, and deliver with excellence in a collaborative, high-performing environment
