This role provides advanced operational, analytical, and advisory support for contingent workforce procurement processes.
The Senior Advisor operates as the bridge between day‑to‑day execution and program‑level decision‑making. They absorb complexity, assess risk, structure information, and deliver clear, decision‑ready insights to leadership. While the role does not include formal people‑management responsibilities, it carries significant influence through mentoring, escalation support, and guidance to Advisors and cross‑functional partners.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a senior operational authority for contingent workforce management, guiding stakeholders through complex, high‑risk requests and ensuring alignment with policy, controls, and program intent.
- Oversee exception handling across the full assignment lifecycle, validating approvals, mitigating risk, and ensuring high‑quality documentation and compliance.
- Lead escalation management by partnering with suppliers, hiring managers, and technical teams to resolve issues that impact candidate pipelines, onboarding, and operational continuity.
- Direct shared inbox triage, setting prioritization standards, routing protocols, and escalation pathways for the broader team.
- Provide Tier 2 issue resolution, synthesizing risks, options, and impacts to inform leadership decisions and determine when escalation is warranted.
- Develop and deliver advanced training, enablement materials, and communications while mentoring Advisors on critical thinking, escalation quality, and stakeholder management.
- Analyze Fieldglass and program data to surface trends, operational risks, and improvement opportunities, contributing to KPI tracking, audit readiness, and data integrity.
- Lead and support process optimization, system enhancements, UAT, and change management initiatives in partnership with the Fieldglass Office Manager and Procurement Governance teams.
- Act as a senior liaison for supplier onboarding and program compliance, assessing risks, validating requirements, and ensuring seamless coordination across internal and external partners.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in procurement operations, contingent workforce management, VMS administration, or related financial/process support.
- Advanced proficiency with SAP Fieldglass or a comparable VMS, with working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or Oracle ERP.
- Strong understanding of the contingent workforce lifecycle, including job posting, onboarding, time/expense management, and invoicing.
- Demonstrated analytical capability, including data interpretation, report creation, and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience facilitating training for internal teams and suppliers.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience supporting process improvement or change management initiatives (asset).
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba and supplier portals (asset).
