Reporting to the Sr Manager, IT, Corporate Services & Modern Workplace, the Senior Solutions Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze requirements, document the proposed workflows and complete testing to ensure new / changed functionality meets the business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow functionality, including ITSM, Source to Pay and HRSD modules. 

 

What you will do:
 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, business value cases and translate these into technical specifications for ServiceNow across IT, Finance and HR. 

  • Analyze business processes and design solutions that leverage ServiceNow capabilities to meet business needs. 

  • Work with IT and managed service teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions that meet business needs. 

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to support end-users and stakeholders with their understanding and improved usage of ServiceNow. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow workflows. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction with delivered solutions. 

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, including requirements, design specifications, estimations, and user guides. 

  • Maintain a product backlog by developing user stories that are ready for development; and provide clarifications to development teams.  

  • Ensure solutions comply with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Assist with testing and validate solutions before release to ensure they meet business needs. 

  • Challenge the value of delivering solutions where the business case is not strong.  

  • Stay up to date with ServiceNow platform updates and industry best practices. 

 

What you will bring:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.  

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Solutions Analyst, with a focus on ITSM, HRSD and Source to Pay. 

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Azure Devops, and the ability to work within sprint cycles to prioritize and deliver requirements.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
