What You'll Do:

 

  • Provide senior-level technical and functional support for Maintenance and Reliability applications
  • Support both operational sustainment and project delivery initiatives
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Design, enhance, and support integrations between enterprise and third-party systems
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, interface, and data issues
  • Define and document solution architectures, data flows, and business rules
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and architectural standards
  • Own end-to-end problem management, including root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of preventive fixes to reduce repeat incidents
  • Participate in application-level disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing
  • Support data quality, alerting, and analytics outputs for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring solutions in partnership with site stakeholders
  • Coordinate closely with vendors and managed service providers to diagnose issues, manage escalations, and drive resolution
  • Contribute to testing activities (unit, integration, regression, UAT support) for application changes and enhancements
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to improved application sustainment standards and practices

What You'll Bring:

 

  • 6–8 years of experience in IT technical analysis or application support
  • Working knowledge of enterprise technology infrastructure supporting business applications, including databases, operating systems, and virtualization platforms
  • Understanding of network fundamentals across IT and OT environments, including how applications interact with plant systems, firewalls, and segmented networks
  • Ability to assess how hardware capacity, performance, and availability considerations impact application stability, scalability, and recovery
  • Familiarity with on-prem and cloud deployment models (IaaS / PaaS), including how applications are hosted, secured, monitored, and recovered
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting multi-tier application architectures, including presentation, middleware, integration, and data layers
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure, cloud, network, and security teams to troubleshoot cross-stack issues
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong SQL skills (SQL Server and Oracle), including performance tuning
  • Understanding of hybrid architectures and cloud deployments (AWS preferred)
  • Experience supporting predictive maintenance or advanced analytics solutions
  • Strong understanding of ERP data flows and integrations
  • Deep knowledge of databases, system security, and troubleshooting

Preferred / Asset Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP PM and/or Oracle EAM
  • Experience with XMPro, AspenTech Mtell, GE Digital, OSI PI, Meridian, or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from multiple sources
  • Exposure to maintenance and reliability business processes
  • Experience working with vendors in enterprise environments
