Discover more about potash at Nutrien! An exciting internship opportunity awaits a motivated student beginning May 2025 for an approximate 4-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.
What you will do:
- Provide support and assistance within the Procurement department, including special projects.
- Both office (Saskatoon) and underground field work at the various Nutrien mine sites; some travel will be required.
- Support inventory optimization by:
- Validate, correct, and enhance details of inventory items (ex: part number).
- Collaborate with Planners, Warehouse Supervisors, Cataloguers and other Stakeholders to update inventory item details in the Master Data.
- Photograph inventory items to build out inventory catalogue functionality.
- Perform and support analytics of inventory.
What you will bring:
- Highly motivated individual who is keen to solve problems independently.
- Curiosity, desire to learn and comfort getting into the weeds in unfamiliar areas.
- Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program, would consider those with a background in arts & science, engineering, finance, supply chain management, accounting, business administration, or tech disciplines
- Competence in standard Microsoft Office software and proficient in Excel
