Reporting to the Director, Employee Services, this role provides leadership and oversight for the Preboarding team and Talent Acquisition Coordination team. You will ensure seamless pre-employment checks and employee onboarding. This position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers to deliver a best-in-class candidate and new hire experience while driving process improvements and operational excellence.  

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Lead and develop the Preboarding & TA Coordination teams to deliver exceptional service and meet SLAs
  • Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching to ensure service quality and compliance
  • Manage all preboarding activities: offer letter processing, pre-employment checks, IT setup coordination, and first-day readiness
  • Track KPIs such as preboarding cycle time, compliance accuracy, candidate satisfaction
  • Ensure timely completion of pre-employment paperwork and system access to accelerate productivity
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian policies and practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across HR operations
  • Collaborate with TA leadership to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and IT to streamline workflows and resolve escalations

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in HR support or shared services environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of Onboarding, Talent Acquisition Coordination, Data Administration and SuccessFactors HCM
  • Passion for delivering world-class customer service with focused attentiveness and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Highly self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Work collaboratively with others, creating partnerships with management, colleagues, and the rest of the human resources function
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with continuous process improvement and automation initiatives
