Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, HR Solution Center, the Team Lead is tasked with managing a significant volume of data transactions across North America. This role involves supervising a team of data entry specialists to guarantee that data input is both accurate and delivered on time. The Team Lead is responsible for providing training, monitoring team performance, identifying quality issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with data entry standards. Additionally, this role aims to cultivate a productive team atmosphere to deliver accurate and timely support, in line with established service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
What you will do:
- Manage team schedules and attendance, ensuring appropriate team coverage always, to minimize impact to customers.
- Oversee, train, and mentor team members to help them achieve their personal and departmental objectives while maximizing overall performance.
- Communicate clearly and monitor data entry requirements and deadlines to the team.
- Carry out regular one-to-one and team meetings to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration, provide feedback and support.
- Address performance issues and coach team members to improve their performance.
- Conduct regular quality checks, audits to identify and rectify errors.
- Support team members with complex data issues, and coordinate with other departments to resolve data-related issues.
- Implement corrective actions to address recurring data quality issues.
- Provide training and learnings on how to identify data gaps and how to resolve the issues.
- Analyze the trends of issues raised to identify gaps or recommend changes.
- Provide speedy and effective resolution to escalations and complex queries, making appropriate decisions or with consultation as needed, whilst managing customer expectations and working it through to closure.
- Regularly review all team processes to ensure a continued efficient operation and to help nurture forward continuous improvement activities, utilizing technological solutions where able.
- Partner and build strong relationships with wider HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to seek feedback and input as required.
- Ensure a culture of compliance and consistency in relation to company Policy and Process and accountability and ownership for their own and their teams’ day-to-day work.
- Provide support as required by HRSC and HR Leaders in relation to business projects/initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with Senior Supervisor, HRSC on service improvement initiatives and improved employee experience.
What you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in a Team Lead role or similar support role including prior experience of monitor/managing staff remotely.
- Knowledge and experience with US and Canadian (an asset) HR Operations, HR Service Delivery, Benefits, Leave of Absence, Payroll practices and policies.
- Proficiency in supporting multiple projects simultaneously with strong results orientation.
- Technology skills and expertise including Service Now or similar case management systems, SuccessFactors, SAP.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills, leadership ability and decision-making.
- Solution-oriented with demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and team members.
- Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement.
- Ability to be flexible in terms of working schedule and within an open modern office.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset.
